Contra Weekend in Cottonwood AZ  Sept 29 - Oct 1, 2017

Cottonwood offers rooms to fit anyone's budget. "Mom & pop motels," national chains, bed & breakfasts and even a state park are in town.

Dead Horse Ranch State Park in Cottonwood is an excellent camping option; the park has sites for tents and trailers, with or without electric hook ups, hot showers and opportunities for other activities in this beautiful riparian setting. Dancers can book adjacent sites, share campsites etc.

Lodging can also be found in Jerome, Cottonwood, Sedona and Camp Verde.

Hotels and motels in Cottonwood are expected to fill up quickly.  There is at least one other event in Cottonwood the same weekend as the Crystal Vortex .

COTTONWOOD   The Quality Inn, just up the hill from the Cottonwood dance hall, will hold a number of rooms at a discount ($94.67 for 2) under the name of Crystal Vortex until three weeks before the event. After that, they put them back up for sale at the regular price at no charge to the organizer. Dancers would have to book by phone to get the special rate.   928-634-4207.
